Do not order from this Company, they are scammers. Just google them!

We ordered an engine from this company on 6/29 Engines and Transmission World.com.

We paid them $3,390, by PayPal by ACH Check.

Then we found that the car was way more damaged than we thought and not worth repairing.. So we canceled the order (2 days later). And asked for a refund, and we were told by Joe in Customer Service that it would take 30 days.

The engine had not shipped, and there was no Damage to Engine & Transmission World. When we canceled on 7/1/2011, they told us 30 days for refund.

We called back after 30 days on 8/3/2011 and we were by Joe that it would take 60 days for refund.

We called on 8/31 and was told by Joe it would come the week of 9/5. No CHECK.

We called on 9/9 and talked to Allen, and was told it was sent UPS and we would get it any day.

We asked for a tracking number and he did not have it, but would email it to us. NOTHING.

We sent a complaint to BBB of Wisonsin on 9/11.

On 9/12 I called and spoke to Joe again at 10:30am and was told that he would get me a tracking number.

I had not received it by 1:00 so I called him and he told me that book keeping had not actually sent the check and he was going to make sure they send it out.

On Tuesday 9/13 we tried to call about the refund and whomever answered the phone said you're the one who went to the BBB and so ok, ok, and sent him to someone's voicemail. He left a message and no one called him back. So about an hour later he called back same thing. He called back about 10-15 times and was either put on eternal hold or sent to random voicemails.

We sent several emails as well. We are still not sure who we are dealing with. Since the Charge came in as Midwest Auto Rec. But their website says Engine & Transmission World.

As of date no emails have been responded to.

Today September 15/2011 we have not had any voice mails or email responded to and have not received our refund.

I sent an email copying this document and asking for my refund check to be sent to me within 5 business days or that I would have to take further action.

9/16/11 received an email from customer service that stated. "Are you the one who went to the BBB?" No signature attached.

They have been scamming people since 2002.

Man! I can't believe the authorities haven't done something about this by now.

What more evidence do they need. These bastards are causing a world of hurt. Somebody needs to hurt them....

permanently. GET A ROPE !!!

Hi,

I have also had a bad and very expensive experience with them.

I am contacting as many people as possible who have had negative dealings with this company, doing videos, and putting them on

You Tube, Twitter, etc. If you are interested in being included in this effort,

let me know.

1.You can send me a video explaining your experience

2.You can call me and I can record our conversation

We are in the video business, and will add whatever visuals needed to

help tell the story.

Thanks,

Hi Paul,

Don't know if you are still doing something about Transmission World, if so I would be happy to join in. I made the horrible mistake of ordering a motor from SW Engines, which is the same business as Transmission World, April 8, 2013. I spent $800, when the motor arrived it was the wrong item, finally got it sent back on June 18th and have yet to get a refund of any kind. I have called about 3 times a week since the end of July and am at my wits end.
